Wouldn't you know it? I'm finally slowed down at work, all the bosses are out, and the site is SLOW today! LOL

Wow, the summer is just flying by for me. I can't believe it's almost July already! I've been busy every weekend in June, and July isn't much better. I think I have 1 weekend where nothing is planned....yet. Then I'm on vacation the first week in August and then it's back to the grind and almost fall! I can't believe how fast it's going.

I got a huge compliment this weekend. I used to shoot competitively, but a real job and real bills got in the way of doing that. I was pretty good - I was the first woman in Colorado to make Master Classification (meaning 94% of the shots were in the 10 or X ring, which is harder than it sounds. We shoot out to 600 yards with open sights), the first woman in Colorado to make Distinguished Rifleman (41st woman ever to acheive that), and I coached teams as well. I've been out of the game for 4 years now, but got back in as Administrative Support for the team this year. Well, I was out at a Team Practice this weekend, and they sprang it on me that they want me to COACH the adult NATIONAL TEAM! Now, my father is the top coach, honestly one of the best in the country, so he will be coaching the top Junior teams. He said they still have all kinds of confidence in my coaching ability, even though I haven't read the wind in 4 years. I'm still a bit in shock. I will probably end up coaching at least one team match (there are 4 days of different team matches at the Nationals), and Captain 2 others. I'm still deciding if I should do it for the National Trophy Team Match like they want. I sure wish I had the confidence in myself that they do!

Thats awesome Heidi! You go girl!

My day was rather boring and slow. Business lately has been dragging a lot, so I find myself bored quite often at work. I did have to go to the Dr today. I've had a bloodshot eye for over a week and I assumed it was allergies or I scratched my eye with my contacts. Well on Saturday, it got worse so I called the on call Dr. at the hospital. He called some med's in for me and ever since I've used those my eye is SO red. It burns like crazy and waters constantly. So, I had to go into get it checked out. Looks like I've got pink eye!
The new med's they gave me cost a fortune! With my copay it was $30, but if I didn't have insurance it would have cost me almost $57!! That's highway robbery!

Other than that nothing major today. Just listening to the news trying to here some info about the nasty storm last night. It's sad...someone actually died from that tornado!
Now we're in a flash flood watch since we got so much rain last night...several inches here, but where the tornadoes hit they got 11 inches! That's a lot of rain!

Well, that's it from here. Hope everyone had a good day!

Movin' on up!
I'm on 10:30-7:00 all week. I talked to my supervisor about changing my shift preference. Right now, I go in anywhere between 8:30-10:30. If I can switch, it will be 6:00-8:30 for start times. At least, I can be home for dinner every night. The latest that I'd get off would be 5:00.

With this schedule, I get to spend about and hour a day with Bill and we don't eat dinner together. Tonight, I assembled a roast and potatoes, for the crock pot and put it in the refrigerator. All Bill has to do, is put it in the heating element and switch it on, when he gets home.
