Today's question is :

What is your favorite meal?

I like all different types of foods and do experiment with a lots of recipes and such. However, for me pork chops, with mushroom gravy, egg noodles, and steamed brocolli is the meal I make when I want to treat myself.

LOVE spaghetti. I love pasta, so when we have this for dinner, I really have to limit myself. Other than that, I love when I do a roast in the crockpot; it turns out sooooo good!

Well, now that it is cold here, I love to make a good hearty chili. Let it simmer all afternoon, crush a bunch of salteens, grab a glass of cold milk and curl up and watch reruns of I Love Lucy. It does not get much better than that!

You know, I just love food. I started trying to come up with a favourite, and just couldn't!
Veal scallopini or tenderloin steak with various fixings is a favourite "treat" dinner for us. Mmmm, with mushrooms and onions, roast potato wedges and fresh bread.

Malayan curry (with nothing in it except pineapple) and chapatis or tomato and cheese pasta from an Italian cafe called Jiardino's.

Cabbage rolls!!! and not the little bltty almost all rice ones doused in tomato sauce either but large ones, filled with more meat than rice, and sweet cabbage, not sour. That is followed closely by pork chops, mashed taters and candied parsnips.....and and well hard to really pick a fave - easier to pick what I don't like!!!LOL

Hi,

at the moment a good warm pumpkin soup
I like to get a nice bright orange hokkaido pumpkin and have it on display for a while as an autum decoration... and then make a soup out of it.

regards,

christine

Anymore? Anything I can eat that doesn't make me sick.
Soups and stews tend to be safe, if I make them since I can make sure only lean meats are used the the food isn't fatty. (I don't digest fats very well)
I love goulash.

She wouldn't want him - she'd probably rather have Gerard Butler.

Impossible to choose. There's so much food that I adore and it depends so much on mood.

Only there wouldn't be much cooking. In the kitchen, that is.
