Hello, Wish me luck in catching my female feral tonight. I talked with the Humane Society in my area to have her fixed. I told them if I can catch her I will bring her in Tuesday morning. They told me no problem and if I could not catch her to try again next week. I feel like I can, since I have made an outside pet out of her and have practiced with the cat carrier (placing tuna in it). THey only take animals on Tuesdays. ANd it is a good thing, since she went in heat Saturday
and have locked her in the garage. Right now there are 2 male cats outside just waiting on her.
Next month I will trap the male cats, which will be harder to do and get them fixed.

Sending trapping vibes! Good luck, sometimes it is not as easy as it seems.

Thanks for the good luck vibes, they worked

I left work earily and when I got home, my daughter forgot and let the cat out of the garage. I live in a wooded area in the county and could not find her, she will come to me if I call her. Then around 4pm she was in the front yard with 2 male feral cats and when she saw me she came running (she was glad to see me). I then put a little tuna in the cage and when she went inside, BINGO she was safe.
This morning I dropped her off and will pick her up at 4:30pm.
The next two male feral cats may not be so easily, but she is the only female around.
The Humane Society in my area does the low cost spay/neuter and shots on Tuesday and there were alot of people there and this shocked me but I am glad people are finally taking their pets to be fixed.
Thanks to all of you for your support, Clara

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Clara - congratulations!!!! What a wonderful thing you are doing!!!! Those kitties are very lucky to have you.

Don't know if you've seen it, but we do have lots of trapping tips if you need them. They're in this thread: Helping Ferals: Socializing, Trapping....

Good luck with the males! I'm sure it'll go just fine. I'm certainly sending those vibes your way!
