Of course, they were more interested in the box

Kitchi is the only one that seemed to get the hang of what he was supposed to do.

3 Inspectors

Kiwi and Kizzy wondering what the heck?

Kizzy's gaze says it all:

Kiwi observing hesitantly

A little closer...

Kitchi exploring, playing...

Cold and lovin' it in MN
Aw, so cute! I have a Drinkwell, and both my boys love it. Raven drinks from the streaming water and Shadow drinks from the bowl.

Kizzy is as adorable as ever; Kiwi is growing into a very handsome boy; Kitchi is just an absolute doll.

It makes a slight humming sound, but no "running water" sound. I think if the water level was lower then it might make a running water noise. But the humming is not something I can hear if I'm 4ft away.

Today I can hear a slight "bubbling" sound (if I put my ear close to it) now that the kitties have drank some of the water and lowered the level.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Again -
Too cute! So... have Kiwi or Kizzy tried drinking from it yet?

And YAY for brave Lil Kitchi!

Chris - it looks smallish fr a fountain - like it would conveniently fit in an RV with tight spaces. Ours loved the drinkwell - but in this current configuration, we don't really have anywhere for it. But that might work!

It holds 2L water....and measures: 8"x8"x6"tall so yup, I think it would work for the RV
It was the only fountain I could find locally.

and no, I haven't seen Kiwi or Kizzy touch it yet....so I'm keeping an eye out, and there's still water bowls upstairs.

Chris - I did notice you still have the power cord wrapped up. That is not a good idea - my boyfriend told me not to do that b/c is can get hot!

BTW - my boys LOOOOVE their Drinkwell. They were hesitant about it at first, but now they are definitely using it.

There's no place like home
I've got a different variety of Catit fountain and most of mine like that one cause it has a dome where the water flows down (Stumpy loves that part), and a bowl for water. Most of mine were wary of it for quite some time and now they love it.

I LOVE the look on Kizzy's face!!

The fountain is on sale at Amazon for $25 which is very tempting. I'm on the fence though because my cats get their hydration from food (I add water to their wet and kibbles) so there's a good chance of a fountain not being used. Also one of my cats likes to bat the water bowls around. Is the fountain sturdy enough to withstand the batting? I'm worried about water coming out and the power cord.
