My sisters deaf cat is missing

Just read my email and she said Dolce has been missing since about 8 this morning.

She said she went outside to take the recycling out and then down to the basement to do laundry. She has not seen him.

He is an indoor cat and her other is an indoor/outdoor who if Dolce gets outside sticks by him.

She has looked for him outside with no luck. I left her a message to start looking carefully in every
room then shut the door.

Any tips to help find a deaf cat would be appreciated!

Oh no! Having deaf cats can be an experience in itself, as I have two.

I have had moments where I have lost them and gone into a panic thinking they had escaped. If she has wood floors, I suggest stamping on the floor to see if they come running. Hopefully Dolce is sleeping in a little hidey hole like Stella and Kahu tend to do and will come out when the floor is banged upon.
