Leftovers again tonight. Third night in a row for the jumbalaya, but it was good. I'll have to cook something tomorrow night though.

Wow that is something I haven't made in ages, most definitely will have to whip some of that up this week some night. I also have a incredible recipe for Cajun shrimp stir-fry that I have made in awhile that now I have a craving for.

I've cooked half a tandoori roast chicken for dinner tonight - we'll have it with potato salad, cheese and bacon buns and fresh tomato when I get home from work.

Some kind of chicken stirfry - im not sure what sauce to use just yet.

Either a ready made sauce or does anyone have any great suggestions?

One of my favorite sauces for chicken stir-fry is honey-mustard which is extremely easy to make. Just saute everything together until the chicken if fully cooked and the vegetables are soft but still have a bit of a crunch to them. To this add 2 tablespoons light soy sauce, 2 tablespoons light liquid honey, and 3 tablespoons hot mustard...It is wonderful.

Well, the ham and potatoes will wait a day. I was buying catfood, and assorted goodies for Secret Santa parcels, and was just about to start puching buttons on the Interac machine when my cellphone rang. DH was calling from a friend's place, where he had been doing some handyman stuff for her, suggesting we find dinner. It was an excellent idea, and we ended up at the Mongolie Grill.

Not surprisingly,Mongolian. Select your raw materials and have them stirfried before your eyes (unless you'd rather go back to your table to wait). Served with wraps and rice, charged by weight. Three of us got out of there for $80, including wine, dessert, tax and generous tip. And it was seriously yummy. Nice night off.

Can I ask what the difference is in the cocoa? I use regular and special dark cocoa for my buttercream frosting, but have never heard of this.

Tonight is italian sausage with red peppers, garlic and marinara served over penne pasta.

Salmon for me tonight, with rice and spinach. Vanilla yogurt with dried blueberries and blackberries mixed into it.

Sounds good, Wendy. We're back to the ham etc that got postponed last night. It'll be fine, but I know what you mean about "new food".
We have to wait until Friday for that. Oh, well.

Leftover Chicken Taco Soup, garlic crescent rolls, and veggies. Tomorrow is opening night for my daughter's play, so I'll be loading up the crockpot tomorrow morning for chicken soup to have before rushing off to the school!

Wet and rainy here today so I am making a pot of Beef Barley Soup. I will have it with some bread and cheese. For dessert yogurt and dried fruit.

I've got a pot roast in the crockpot. I think we'll have roast beef sandwiches tonight.
