First Snow Fall of the Year

Well, today is Saturday, October 10 and in Central Alberta, Canada, we are seeing the beginning of winter! Swat sits in front of the patio doors for hours on end chasing the invading, menacing "snow flake monsters".

Aw, the videos aren't working for me. I haz a sad. I love snow, and I would love to see the kitty try to get some. We got a dusting yesterday, but it's gone now.

We got our first snow yesterday too in Colorado.

Swat sure earned his name chasing those little snow monsters. Earl looked over to see what I was laughing at and said, "Well, at least you know where he's at!"

Swat used to hide around corners when he as a wee little kitty and then come out "swatting" and all the big scarry monsters (hubby & I). And so he was named Swat!! He lives up to his name very well.

It's snowing here right now.....Margo wants to go play outside in the snow - it looks like fun, up until I open the door for her & she realizes it's cold out there!

Swat looks like he's having a blast! Nothing like cheap kitty toys to keep them entertained!
