Were having a snow storm

I woke up to go to work and it snowed about 4 inches. I work 40 miles west of where I live, and they are under a winter storm warning so I called in.

The snow is here and on it's way to the rest of the country!!!

Keep it out there, please! I am SO not ready for snow. I still waiting for summer to get here! This has been the strangest year weather-wise.

I live south east of you. Please keep it up in your neck of the woods!

Snow is pretty and it does give you an excuse to snuggle with a bunch of cats by the fireplace. But man I hate to drive in it.

Too early for snow yuck

It's supposed to drop into the 30sF here by this afternoon - the same cold front, I'm assuming. Parts of the state all the way down to where I live have a slight possibility for snow, which is weird as it hasn't snowed in October here for many year.
It's only 43F at the moment, so I think it'll get below freezing.

Those in the worst of this, bundle up and drive carefully if you have to be out.

Oh please please please, not yet!! I am not ready for it, since we never had a summer as it is. When that lake effect snow machine turns on, we can measure snow in feet, not inches. I am not ready for that. Sending to keep that cold air your way

It was in the 80's here yesterday (wore a sweatshirt to work yesterday and sweated my butt off!) but it was supposed to be in the 40's today after major thunderstorms...but that never happened. I guess it got stalled? A little rain and that was it, but very windy so I'm guessing it's coming.

No wonder everyone gets sick this time of year...Mother Nature can't make up her mind! Tomorrow should be fun......

It's still in the 80"s and even 90's here....very hot and humid. A cool down would be nice. Enjoy your snow!

I can't wait for the snow!

We got about an inch or so in SW side of Minnesota - so THAT's where the snow came from - thanks Nebraskians

We had one yesterday and last night too! I'm directly north of you, so it must have been the same storm system.

I hear Colorado, including the Denver area, had quite a bit. And they had record lows.

Hey, that's not true! It did snow a bit last year before we moved.

That's snow on my arm.
If you want snow, you can always move north you know
post #19 of 29
It's been snowing the last few days about an hour north from me. I like snow too but we only ever get snow showers here.
We had snow here this am. I was not a happy camper. I just can't fathom the thought of snow and cold this early, I mean if it's snowing this early, what's the winter going to bring?
I was just glad that it didn't stick and stopped an hour before I left work. Still cold but no snow blowing around or sticking makes for an ok day in my book!

Hang on, it's spring down there right? Well, I guess it would be the equivelant of March here (just working this out in my mind...don't pay any attention...)

Still no snow here, thank god. But just wait...it will all come Monday night since Tuesday is the next day I have to work. I LOVE snow...on my days off!

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Already its that time of year...I just bought a scraper thinger for ice for my car...We are supposed to get a low of 43 this week in NE PA...Im so not happy about this I hate driving in the snow and I hate Penn Dot with a passion because they wait till the last minute to do anything about the roads!!! I have a feeling Ill be getting quite a few snow days this winter especially just having gotten my license back Im not risking wrecking my car for work! No way no how they dont pay me enough to afford a new car

More snow here! I woke up feeling like I was inside a snow globe that had just been shaken up! It's not even snowing flakes, it's snowing snow pellets, and so much that I can hardly see across the river.

I have to take my garbage out, I'll take my camera. Provided I don't feel like I'm going to freeze to death, I'll take a picture!
Well, I took my garbage out. However it had stopped snowing by then and the sun was out.

Now it's starting to snow again! This time large fluffy flakes instead of snow pellets.

Freezing rain expected for tomorrow morning. I'm done with winter already
I'm going to get in trouble at work if they don't call a snow day for last saturday(they haven't called it yet as of today). They had 15 inches of snow. When I went to work today you could see the tracks off I-80 where semi trucks and vehicles went off the road.

Yay! Oh, Yay! I wait all through the summer for the cold weather to arrive! I can't stand the heat.

Send the snow my way!
