Hi, I am a little late in introducing myself.

I have been a life long cat lover. I have always had at least two cats in my home.

I joined here because I embarked on a new experience...the role of co-mommy to kittens. I have always adopted adult cats..err, they have always adopted me I guess. My sweet Jesse escaped the house before I could get her spayed. She was very busy for the 30 minutes she was out. Jesse blessed us with four kittens. One passed very early in life but the other ones are thriving.

I initially had homes picked out for the kittens. NO way can I give them up. They are part of my family. I now have six kitties. That seemed like so much but the more I talk to people, online and IRL, I find that many cat lovers have a large family.

Thanks for your introduction.
It sounds like every one of Mama Jessie's kittens has won your heart.

Lucky you.

See you around the site.

Isn't it hard to give up the babies? My cat Slick (barn cat) now spayed and inside had 6 in March. I found homes for 4 and was going to take the other 2 to a no kill shelter. Well that never happened. I, too, fell in love. Now I have 11. Oh well. What's 3 more?
Welcome!

I have done a lot of fostering and always end up keeping the kittens that didnt get adopted to excellent homes. We have 4 cats now and they are the most fun ever. As long as you can take care of them, there is no limit, IMO.

I'm also new and a fellow Ohioan. I can never give up babies either...something about watching them grow up bonds you to them forever!
