A few months ago my husband & I trapped a mama cat and her baby kitten (a 12 hour ordeal, by the way!) for TNR. Mama is fine, but we decided to surrender the kitten (about 4 weeks old) to the local animal protective league for fostering & potential adoption. I've been thinking about this poor little kitten ever since. We already care for 2 indoor and 6 outdoor (feral) cats and hoped to give this little guy a chance to be non-feral and get a good home. Well, I heard today that this little guy was adopted on Sept. 26 by a good family. I am so thrilled because we've never done anything like this before and it's such a good feeling.

That's wonderful, debster - what a great outcome!!!

Those 12 hours you spent trapping have made all the difference in the lives of mama cat and her kitten. Congratulations on a job well done!
