Should I take 2 cats to show if they'll be competing directly?

I am trying to decide if I should take two cats to the next TICA cat show or not. All my cats who I could show would be in the tabby and white division which means they would be competing directly against each other in the division. I showed two cats last weekend and the other person who was showing a cat in the tabby and white division recommended only showing one cat at a time if they are in the same division because she said otherwise they both will probably end up with less points/finals for the show...
I am not sure now if I should enter two in the show or just one. I would be entering Harlequin and one of her brothers. I would probably take the one who has not been to a show yet, Mr. Grey so I could see if he enjoys it or not...
I'm most likely only going for one day of the show (it's a 2-day show) because I will need to stay overnight.

Why not? Even the purebred owners will put 2 or 3 against each other. Gives the judges more to look at and really makes them "work" at choosing the Best of Breed.

I like showing 2 against each other. I wouldn't be worried about two cats in the same Breed class it's when a breeder has five or six from the same litter in the same COLOUR division that you should be worried

I'd take them both. I'll be showing 2 of my cats in the Entire section against each other next year (different breeds though).

My cats are always against each other, and always split rings. It doesn't bother me at all.

I will be showing all three of my Sphynx in a couple weeks. They will all be up against each other but all different divisions. I want to get them more experienced with it. There are only 4 shows per year that we can go to (not many shows up here) so we need to go to all of them. We enjoyed our first one so much I know this won't be a problem.

I can't wait to show our Monty as it will be his first show. He is very easily handled so I'm hoping the judges like him

I think you should show both your kitties. It's nice to have competition to compare against as well. Good luck!!!

They'd be in the same division because they are all considered tabby and white (one is a torbie/white which goes in tabby division).

I guess I will probably show two cats because we also don't have that many shows we can enter for the year...

Show them both.
Wrinkles breeder has decided she will strat showing.
I am trying to see if I can go to San Diego and teach her how to show.
If I do Wrinkles will be shown against her brother.
