How long can I expect this to go on? I had a great deal of cats through out my life but never one like this. I swear I spend 4 hours a day doing nothing but laughing at my 20 month old cat.
He hides between the shower curtain and the liner and then jumps out and soft paws me with consideration of not using his claws. I was reading a birthday card and he grabbed it with his teeth and ran off with it. Yesterday with his huge paws he socked me in the glasses, they tilted on my face and then he used his teeth and quickly took them off. He attacks plush toys 5 times his size and drags them to me. I'll bend down on the floor to pick something up and he will leap over me. I have cardboard box houses for him and it never fails I will peek into a window to see if he is there and bam!, soft paw to the forehead. And the way he sleeps by me, pressed right against my left side, tilts his head onto part of my stomach with how's it going buddy look.I want to freeze time as I fear this is just youth. I'm so use to my last cat, god rest her but her personality from 7-13 was finnicky and drab.

It souds to me like you have a perfectly normal, well adjusted cat!

Cats are certainly a blessing that not everyone gets to be apart of. Your little guy is truly lucky to have someone who understands him and appreciates him.

I have one like that! He does so many funny things. He is a joy to have around, even my husband loves to see what Kitto is up to. He is about the same age as your cat, actually he is 2, and thinks up new ways to play all the time. I think it is their personality, truly. So much fun.

I have an 11 yr old, a 5 yr old and a 3 yr old and they still make me laugh EVERY SINGLE DAY. They are nuts! and I love them for it! If ever things simmer down you can always get another cat, how they interact with each other can sometimes be the funniest thing.

Lol, sounds like my house but I've got three of those! Friday is the oldest at 10 and he's barely let up on the laugh making. I can't fathom living without all the fun activity!

Too true and I highly recommend it. My youngest keeps the older cats on their toes! We've called him the, "Adult Cat Exerciser" since he's come to live with us.

Our kids used to keep us entertained but now that they are a little older, well you know how kids are.

Thank goodness for our fur buddies comedians!!

Don't you love your little one?

Ku Ku is often acting like that, too.
I'd never be bored watching what she does.
After all these years(soon to be 4), Ku Ku's been my little baby, a furry alarm-clock(very accurate), meowmy sitter(when I go to sleep, lol), a virtual tranquilizer(well, sort of), insect & rodent terminator(never misses the target), and overall - wonderful caretaker of her meowmy.

I was always thinking that she may "change" as she gets older but nope, she still is a grown-up kitten.

I hope your kitty would remain the same way

Dusty likes to take my tasseled bookmarks. I was reading this afternoon and put the bookmark on the table and she started to take off with it. Rusty did the same thing and destroyed the tassel!

Punkin is 6 years old now, and he's still the kitten. He's especially good at "mugging" us, by hiding and then jumping out at us when we come by.
