I can't stress enough that you must mark the customs form that the package is a GIFT.
If you do not, the recipient will have to pay taxes on the item. Please also note that there are dollar limits for gifts. Remember that when filling out your customs form. Some countries (particularly Canada) will raise the limit as Christmastime, but it has not been announced yet. If a Canadian member has additional information, please post.
