I have a kind of three-tiered approach. I tote a fair bit of stuff back and forth to work, that I don't want to have to think about, but simply know it's there if I need it. I use a large messenger bag and there's enough room left over from the "stuff" to add a small purse, containing the walking around essentials, that I can pull out and use independently, say at lunchtime if I go out and don't want to hike everything around with me. Usually, that small purse is a waist pack, but if I want to be more dressy, I have a small leather shoulder bag that holds the critical items. These small bags are also the ones I use at other times when I'm not toting all the junk.

Right now I am carrying a pretty large one. Way too large for what I need but I do like it. Usually it is a medium size one. I have a little zip bag that I use to carry advil, tide pen, makeup, small sewing kit, chapstick, etc. That way when I switch purses I just need to grab that, my cell, and my wallet. Makes things easy.

Well it really all depends, most times I just carry a wallet, or stick my bank card in my back pocket. When I use to work I would carry a large purse that doubled as a computer case.

My hands are occupied with holding myself up and walking so my everyday go to work bag is a cross body designed for traveling bag.

It's got zippered pockets on the front for keys and phone, the back for other stuff like my address book glasses and stuff. There is a zip pocket on the side that zips flat but open is big enough to hold a water bottle. I never carry water but I could if I wanted to.

I also use a canvas tote bag that I modified with a very long strap. This I also use cross body to carry the everyday stuff like my lunch and thing that go to work with me.

It also doubles as a carry all for things that come home from the office and for when I stop for my mail at home.

For the times that I am going out and don't need much I have a small bag the also works cross body. It holds wallet, phone and keys.

I suppose mine would be called a medium/large bag. I love vintage Coach bags, and have found a particular style that I absolutely love...so I've gradually gotten one in every color. I've gotten them all on eBay. I usually carry the black one, but I also have it in British tan, burgandy and navy.

Oh my,one of my favorite things!I love purses!I have so many...most of which are pretty decent sized.I am very fond of Liz Claiborne's, and I have several of hers, but I pick them up at flea markets for a couple of bucks a piece. My absolute favorite is one that my sister custom made for me when she worked for Ameribag. She was a leather cutter, and it's wonderful. There is a place for everything and everything has a place...and it has a backsaver strap, too.

I'd say mine is normal to small sized.

I'm not a big handbag person so I try to get away with carrying the minimum. Everything has it's place and it doesn't have too many pockets.

I have a normal size handbag and a diaper bag. I would just put my necessities in the diaper bag, but hubby bought me a Coach purse for my birthday last year. It's something I would never purchase for myself. I feel bad if I don't take it with me when I go places, so I take both handbag and diaper bag if need be.

My purse is a medium size one. I carry a lot of junk in it. I really want a new one, I am just waiting until we get one at work that I like since I get them half price.
