He loves the Snuggie!

George is NOT a lap cat and only snuggles when HE wants to. Until you bring out the Snuggie...and then he's all over you!
I was given one a few years ago - so it's an early version, not exactly like the one now on tv, but he sees that its being used, and in your lap/arms he goes!! He's also not a cat that purrs (he kind of breathes hard and snorts) - but he's in total heaven, eyes closed, noises galore...all cuddled up in the crook of your arm. Now that it's October and the temps are cool, the Snuggie will be out and I'm in for months of snuggles!
If it wasn't for all the hair he leaves behind, he'd be perfect for a commercial!

He is a comfort cat. You must be very warm with a snuggie and and kitty! Sometimes the cooler weather isn't so bad if
it brings us closer to our fur kids!

Thats adorable.
I love the colder weather for that very reason, my cats get snugglier. All summer they sleep in the kitchen where its cooler. I miss them so much! Now they are all in the bedroom with Mamma.


A snuggie is a blanket with sleeves. No kidding. Like a fleece caftan. Open in the back so its easy to just throw on.

George would sooo hate wearing one!! I guess I'm suppose to be wrapped up and he just gets to lay on it
This is suppose to be a cool rainy weekend - I'll try to get a picture if I can - now if only the pic had sound. It's the snorting that's the best!

I always thought they were 'cheesey' but in reality, the thing is warm!! And perfect for cold days and wanted to watch tv or read...and I guess George can't be wrong since he doesn't snuggle up with any other blanket!
(just wish it closed in the back - have to get up and your all warm and toasty and now your back side is open - just like a normal blanket...grrrrr).

George would be in the medium size range - he's a pretty big boy!
If I bought him is own, he wouldn't want to snuggle with me and since he's not a big cuddler, I'd miss out on it. It is just so funny, his eyes closed and his snorting noises...priceless!

Awww! My Archie makes little snorting and grunting noises when he getting loved up by me! It's too cute!

My cat Sasha is similar, she'll only lay on my lap if I have a certain red blanket on my lap, and it can't be any blanket it has to be the red one. Keeps me even warmer on those cold wintery days!

Do cats have a thing with red? Not only does George love the red Snuggie, his other favorite blanket is red. That use to be a decorative throw on the guest bed - not any more!! George's orange hair has taken over and way to disgusting for guests!

Just had to tell you...We were at WalMart tonight and they had a Snuggie display by the checkouts. I thought of George, even told DH about George and how he just LOVES your Snuggie!

My Alaska kitties love curling up with me and a snuggie too. I just tend to run out of lap space when more than 2 or 3 try to find some room. We have a king sized bed and we can hardly have any room to move at times when they are all there!

George was acting kind of sassy last night - wanting to stalk Ellie (she really doesn't like when he does that!) and I put the Snuggie on, picked him up and he just MELTED in my arms!! He's like a baby and with a security blanket...
