Cloudy Eyes

my kitten is 3.5-4 months old and he used to have pink eye and now his eyes are very cloudy, here is an image attached, anybody have any idea?

Looks like corneal scarring. Did he receive antibiotics for the pink eye? My vet says extended treatment (8 weeks or so) with an antibiotic ointment sometimes will allow the scars to heal.
