Officially a homeowner

Well it was official Tuesday night-the keys are in our hands and we started moving stuff today but we are getting a truck Saturday!

So I may be a little busy the next week or two but will post pictures as soon as I can!

Yay!! That's so exciting! DH and I love being homeowners now too. Well...I'm not so happy to be shelling out $1500 to take care of several trees on the property but other than stuff like that it's wonderful!

That's so exciting! We bought our 1st house almost 5 years ago (next January), and I still feel that excitement when I hear of others doing the same thing (my boss just made settlement on her 1st house this week, too).

Congrats on buying your first home

Wanted to update quickly-sitting on the floor of the rental--haven't gotten the cable hooked up yet at the new house, we have until the end of next weekend to get out of the rental. I had to get online to pay bills and have our address changed!!!

Anyway the move went great, the in laws are gone! The kitties finally got to explore today, Harley is scared to death and hiding under the covers on the bed--has been for two days now. He did come out and eat last night but quickly retreats under the covers.

Four doe walk through the yard every night and graze right on the front lawn--and we live in a residential neighborhood, they aren't scared.

Anyway I'll update later in the week!!
