Injured stray needs home

I have a stray that comes around my condo in Henderson, NV. He's a nice cat that needs a home and some vet care - he looks like he has a puncture wound on his right front paw.

My cat is an indoor- outdoor spayed female and he started coming around a couple months ago to hang out with her (as well as eat her food!) I'm in the process of moving to Reno and my fiancee has already left with my cat. I feel bad for the stray so I've still been feeding him and he hangs out on my porch. I'm leaving October 11th and would love to find a home for him before then. To complicate matters, about a week ago I noticed his paw seemed to have a puncture wound. It seems to be getting worse. I'm moving and can't afford to take him to a vet.

Anyone have any ideas? He's a really nice cat and I'd hate to leave him on his own.

Thanks,

Karri

If it were me, I would find a way to take him with me. He sounds tame and would probably be easy to catch. I could not leave him hurt. There is a payment deal called Care Credit. They are accepted by many vets. I have used it and it has been a life saver. You might want to call your vet and see if they participate. It saved my pocketbook when I had my cat Slick spayed. Hope you can help this little one.

You could also try local shelters, since he is a stray they may help
