To my santee:

Today I came home to Trout playing with one of your kitty toys. Please do not mind the bite marks in the toys. I had them locked away in the bedroom closet in a bag, up on a shelf.

The closet door was open, the bag was off the shelf and the SS items were scattered!

Me thinks Trout smelled the catnip

Kitters is ok with tested products! Her loves drool!
I have smartened up over the years and anything catnip is bought LAST, wrapped instantly and placed in the box to be mailed. Which is then promptly brought to be shipped before she can figure a way INTO the box! I got to pretend I'm smarter than her some days!

Would anyone mind explaining the darkside/lightside thing to me and the story behind the gnomes? I'm kind of lost....
And I have a horrible feeling that whatever is considered the darkside, I'm on it.

Well, I did it - I managed to wrap everything and stuff the gifts into one of those not so large postal boxes. It is ready to be sent


BTW, does anyone have any tips for keeping a cat with an extremely strong obsession over string away from curling ribbon? I tried asking, pleading, threatening but nothing - not even being threatened with having her paws amputated could keep her away
Every time I would shoo her away, she would sneak in from another direction and grab the end of whatever ribbon she could find and drag it away package and all
I think that I might have to box the cat up and sent her to my recipient

Yeah, Darkside is busting into your pressies before Christmas gets here. Lightsiders are the one's who stubbornly wait it out till the week of Christmas or heaven forbid Christmas DAY!!!


And the gnome thing stems back atleast 3 years I think when a gnome question was asked in the hints thread to which some very strong feelings were mentioned about the distaste for gnomes. Since then, gnomes have been gracing the SS pressies quite often. And the original "gnome hater" (Danielle) got MORE than anyone else!

Hmmm...
Nope, do not know how to help you with that one. Kitters has a strong obsession with LAYING on everything I try to do for SS. The wrapping paper, any boxes, anything flat or not so flat, she is sprawled all over it!!! Goes the same for anything I get too! Book one year (with Kitters on it) Candle in a box (Kitters on it) My pretty ornament year before last (not flat and Kitters still on it) and even the box I get them in, she takes over. Slept in one for a whole year, until a new one came from that person the next year!
She's a dork!

LOL....nah..... Stages for me is baby steps to completing something. I'm not the most organised of people

Now, I don't mind a little cat hair here and there, but the whole thing might be too much!
