Dear Santee,
I had a wonderful day yesterday wandering around various artists houses and bought some lovely things for you! I hope you like them as much as I do. I loved seeing the creativity of everyone and the wide variety of arts and crafts out there, it was a lot of fun.

Dear Santee,

I plan on putting your box in the mail this coming weekend. I have yet to wrap the gifts, and I am almost finished making the last gift. I have tried and tried to keep Marcie and Darcy away from this gift I am making, but they have taken such an interest that shooing them away is nearly impossible. I sure hope you don't mind a little cat hair - don't worry, the gift I am making isn't edible....or is it?

Dear SS:
I am finished with the cat portion of your gift. I just have one more little thing to buy for you...a trinket, really...if I can find it. It isn't an unusual item; it just sells out very quickly at CVS. I guess you could call it a popular trinket...or treat. Then let the wrapping begin!

Yesterday I found ______ at Target for you and ______ at Sears today! I just have to look for a ________ and get you a few things from _________ to finish things off. Of course - I can't forget ________ !!! I am hoping that you like everything I have found.

We have several votes for both, but all singular votes have been for Godiva so it looks like it will be Godiva! Don't worry though, I will taste test all items before sending

Hi Y'all.


My Santee will be happy to know that I finally ordered most of his/her gifts yesterday. I just have a few more things left to purchase, and then I'll be done.
I had meant to do all my shopping much sooner than now, but our finances have been really strained this year, and it's been rather hectic around here (my s/o just got out of the hospital again for the 3rd time this year, my favorite aunt passed away recently, and we had to get another car b/c our old one was on its last wheels: we also had to get another refrigerator and get our air conditioner/heating system fixed not too long ago, which cost a small fortune - not to mention numerous visits to the vet in the past few months, among other things. It's been a rough year
). Needless to say, I've been preoccupied with all that's been going on, and I've been pretty exhausted. I've been meaning to keep in touch more than I have, but I just haven't been up to it.


Anyway, I just wanted to touch base with y'all, and let everyone know (especially my Santee) that I haven't forgotten about participating this year, and I still intend on fulfilling my obligations. I just won't be able to ship out my Santee's gifts as soon as I had originally intended. But he/she can rest assured that he/she will have his/her goodies in time for Christmas!

Yes! It is working! I am trying to narrow down who my SS is, but I am finding it almost impossible. I do have a suspect, however. Does anyone ever figure out who their SS is?

Ahhh Santee, I will be picking up the second-last part of your gift when I am back in Ontario at the end of the week. I had my mother pick it up, as I knew she would be able to obtain one, where Id have a much harder time. Then, all I will have to do is wrap and ship...should I delay and keep you waiting or send right away to end the suspense?!?

Well, you're welcome to ship whenever you want to, but I'll probably drive everyone nuts by waiting at least until December to open.
