Believe me, you can shop clearance racks and bargain hunt without it looking like it is leftovers from a shopping spree at the mall.

Unless she makes something homemade. Then it will arrive on December 24th.

Ask Fran, she'll tell you.
I can answer this one though. Have you ever had one of the better chocolates? Lindt, Godiva, etc? Once you start eating "the good stuff" on a consistent basis, it's really hard to go back to Hershey.

Exactly!

The good stuff will ruin you for grocery store chocolate

I don't know about that. The best chocolate I ever had was from a local grocery store in Austria. It's been a long time and I don't remember the name now, but I'm pretty sure they never exported it. Believe me, I spent a lot of time looking for it when I got back to the States.

Dear Santee

While at the mall today and buying *myself* a gift, I found a point-of-purchase perfect addition for your gift! Im sure you will love it as much as I do, and hope you get good use of it. I havnt bought you anything edible yet, as I want to make sure everything is fresh. Almost done shopping now, just a couple tidbits to go!

Hey Santee:

I just got finished practicing a new embroidery design for your gift. It looks absolutely awesome!!!!!
I think I'll keep this one for myself and make you another.

Well, I've never actually made it in the Lindt store, since I pass Godiva first once I enter, lol. I've only ever had Lindt chocolate from the grocery store, so perhaps I should go next weekend and do some sampling for comparison. It would be the right thing to do. For my recipient, I mean. Purely selfless.

The Lindt Excellences are so good. I think I had the cocoa one recently.
Not a big fan of expensive chocolate believe it or not. Oh and the Truffles are good too. I bought DH some last Christmas and then for Valentine's and then his birthday. Yes they were a hit. lol

Oh gosh, that is just so generous and selfless of you! It's wonderful to see people go to such lengths for their SS, truly touching.
