In the snow!!!!
I just went to the USPS website and ordered a free sample pack of the flat rate boxes. For the amount of shipping that I do, I should be set for the Holidays! Instead of paying for the boxes AND the shipping, now I will just be paying for the shipping.

Last year I didn't...
This year things are tight since I'm in med school, so i'll have to be better about it! I've got a list of things i'm planning to get my SS and price ranges written down so I stay on track hopefully!

Thank you for the information! I just did the same thing. I'm not sure what size box I'll need; I ordered a gift online and it hasn't got here yet. I did a little shopping this weekend. This is so much fun!

There will be plenty of people willing to help you figure it out.

Wishing I were anywhere but here
I have more ideas now so I'm excited. I just need to get most of it before my dad has his surgery. I won't have much money once I start helping him with the bills.

I just need to buy "people gifts" now.
I love SS. I love buying for someone else!

I can't believe someone already got a gift! Yeah! You have to tell us!!

There's no place like home
I completed making the first of my SS gifts this afternoon, and started on another couple of gifts.

Of course I already hit the last Yankee Candle sale so I've already got that covered.......

I like the way you think.
Last year I ended up spending way too much on my "Santee" (love that word, BTW!), and got the evil eye a time or two from my s/o. I just corrected the situation by 'sucking up' a little to him by spending a little extra on him, too. Works every time!

I haven't purchased anything yet for my Santee. but have my list pretty much planned out. I think he/she will be pleasantly surprised.
