The mods kept posting saying that if you signed up but didn't get a confirmation, to resend. I'm sorry that you have to miss out this year, though.
I got a PM asking the same thing and no, I didnt. I really didn't keep up withthe SS threads saying to resend if that was the case, my own fault there.
Its OK, I will have fun reading about you all and seeing the pics!

Oh, for me it's easy. My husband and I have what we call our own "free money" spots in the budget. Anything I want to buy for myself (or in this case, my SS recipient) comes from that fund.

When I'm out of money, I'm out until the last day of that month. So I'm meticulous about my budget.

That's how I did my budget when I worked. DH is horrible with his. We have to "talk" about it tonight b/c he keeps going over it.

I love excel. I might use that to track my spending. I have been doing that with coupon deals.

I definitely don't follow an exact budget when it comes to TCS Secret Santa! That ruins the moment for me

My DH uses a spreadsheet for the whole budget and check register. The budget sheet...whew, it's a doozy of formulas, etc. We just sit down and go over where the money is, and I ask how much "free" money I have. It's all in the same account, but just in a different cell on the spreadsheet.

If you use the flat-rate priority boxes, you can ship as much as you want as long as it fits in the box, no matter how heavy

I already ordered the smaller boxes!

I think I need bigger ones now.

really? Hmmmmmm. I am going to have to investigate that further

Thanks for the info.

ETA: had a quick peak..... Do any Canadians know if boxes are available? All I could find was prepaid envelopes.

I secretly love Excel too....

I no longer follow a specific budget. I did the first couple of times, but now I buy a lot throughout the year when I see likely gifts, so by Christmas there's usually quite a pile.

Hmm, yeah I don't know if Canada has that option. I've seen the bags too, Chris. I'm going to check that out because that would be awesome!

Do let me know if you find out.... I don't know the next time I'll be in the actual post office to ask.... prolly in a couple weeks when my meds are due.

I couldn't find anything online though, aside from the envelopes. It would be great if we did have them though

Sorry, I didn't realize you were in Canada. It might just be a US thing.

You could probably call and ask if they have anything like that.
