I hear a lot of people recommend wet cat food. What is the benefit of this? What brand do you suggest? Will changing from dry to wet affect my cats' digestion (diarrhea, constipation etc)? One of my cats needs to diet. How many times a day do you think I should give him a can of wet food? Thank you.

I would suggest doing a search. This topic has been covered a number of times. Good chance you will find more than you ever wanted to know about wet vs dry. If you decide to feed wet then follow the directions on label and determine the amount to feed. Then take the amount and break it into at least two servings/feedings a day. Also search about brands. A healthy amount of brands have been covered or debated

Catinfo.org has some good info on cat nutrition. I personally can't afford all wet, but I moisten it quite a bit and have a water fountain.
