We just moved into a new house and my 6 year old Himalyian has peed 3 times on the carpet. He has neve done this before and I am very concerned.

It's not large puddles, and he is still using his litter box. Today my fiance found that he had piddled in the corner of our bedroom and the cat was licking the spot where he peed.

I've been reading about the UTI's and it doesn't sound like it at all. He hasn't been licking his male bits excessively, he doesn't yowl when he pees, there is no blood and his behaviour hasn't changed. He's still a glutton who drinks lots.

Please help.

Even if he doesn't physically act sick - my first suggestion is to have his urine tested by the vet to rule out a UTI.

Second - any idea if the previous people who lived there had cats? Its possible that a previous pet urinated in those places & he is going there.
