A little worried about our new kitten.

I am a little concerned about our new kitten. He is wheezing. And he has seem to have a red spot under his eye and he cant close it all the way. His black 'eyeliner' on that eye is not complete either. What could it be

It sounds like he probably has a respiratory infection This isn't an ordinary "head cold", and can lead to blindness, and is very serious in a young kitten. He should be taken to a vet as soon as possible.

Red spots under the eye like that are very indicative of infection. With Riki ( ) she got something similar when her teeth were infected & needed to be pulled.

That sounds like an infection to me. I'd take him to the vets ASAP!

Poor baby! He definitely needs to be seen by the vet sooner rather than later. Is he congested at all? If so, get the bathroom nice and steamy from running the shower, take the kitty in the bathroom with you and shut the door. Sit in the bathroom with him until the steam dissipates. This will help loosen the congestion and help him breathe easier.

Also, make sure he's eating and drinking normally. If he can't smell, he won't eat.
