My DH was diagnosed with a form of leukemia in 2006, and has been at stage 0. When he had bloodwork done last month the numbers had taken a large jump; he goes to the lab this afternoon to have more bloodwork, hoping the last results were just a fluke. I'm a nervous wreck. Just before his last labs he'd been away on vacation for 2 weeks, so he should have been pretty stress-free, which usually means better numbers. Or not; I understand that this was the vacation from Hades. He has one enlarged node on the back of his neck that just won't go down, but then again, it goes up and down constantly. (one of the problems that's associated with this form of leukemia is enlarged nodes thru-out the body)

Anyway, while I'm pacing the floor I would really, really appreciate some positive vibes coming my DH's way. Any good thoughts would be very welcome.

I'm really sorry for you having to travel down this road, it's horrible having to wait.

Will pray for both you and your husband that you'll have wisdom in any decisions that you may be having to make.

Lots of vibes that the bloodwork was just a fluke, and that all is well!

Here are some vibes that it was a fluke

It seems a bit odd that his levels would spike all of a sudden like that when he is feeling fine. Hopefully everything is okay.

Prayers for him.
My husband has Leukemia also and his wbc count is bad right now also.
He sees the dr in a few weeks.
I know exactly how you feel.
If you ever need to talk pm me.

I feel so bad that you and your hubby are going thu this as well. Many, many to both of you.

I found out we won't get the lab results back until tomorrow afternoon. The dr. was out of the office today, and the lab has to run thru the results with him first. (don't know why, it won't change anything) So, more waiting.

Thank you, everyone, for the vibes and prayers. I get so upset every time DH has blood work done, while he takes it in stride and says "There's nothing we can do about it, so why worry?" Men! Once the lab calls, I'll update. Please keep the prayers coming that this was just a spike and that DH's wbc has settled down some.

That is what my husband says also.
Men are all alike.
We always get the results the same day except for the bone marrow tests and ct scans.
Has your husband had any of those done.
