My white cat, Sophie Lilac has a black mark under her eye. (under her fur) At first I thought she had scratched herself and it was a scab. She lets me look at it and touch it & it doesn't seem to hurt her at all and it doesn't seem to be a scab or a cut. She is acting perfectly normal: eating well, no problems going to bathroom (poop or pee) and is very playful, as she usually is. My concern is that I have read that white cats are prone to skin cancer. I live in a condo & we only get a few hours of morning sun, so she doesn't have much sun exposure. She is 3 years old. I use a holistic vet who doesn't do traditional vet stuff, so I'll need to find a traditional vet, but maybe it's nothing. (I tend to be an alarmist!) She's had this going on 2 weeks. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated! Thanks.
