Feliz Dia de Independencia!

For those who don't know, Mexico actually celebrates two Independence Days. One is on Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) to celebrate the first victory against the French occupiers, which lead to their independence from the French. This is obviously the one celebrated here in the US, although it's more of a minor holiday in Mexico since it actually celebrates a battle victory, and of course the Spanish moved in after the French.

Diez y seis de Septiembre (September 16th) is more akin to the July 4th celebration we have in the US. This one celebrates Mexico's independence from Spanish occupation, and their founding as a free country.
