He was an amazing TV chef travelled all over the world cooking and a glass of red wine

He suffered from bowel cancer and a heart attack was the end for him

I agree with you aj, he was an amazing chef. I was bought up on watching him. I can remember watching him when i was little with my family. Our family have always been in the food business. He really will be missed.

yeah me and my dad used to watch him all the time

We always used to have a giggle while watching, you know, one glass of red wine for the cooking and the rest of the bottle for me kind of thing !
I think really he was the first real tv chef. It was amazing watching his programs they were real entertainment not just cooking, if you know what i mean ? I really could sit and listen to him for hours
