Ari loves watching the birds (and talking to them) but I can always tell when a mourning dove arrives.

He goes bonkers! (Ihave the scratches to prove it.
)

I can just imagine him thinking "Squab for lunch!

It's because they're big & slow and a little dumb (if not very very beautiful, I love mourning doves!!).

Our cats love them too
