The kitten is very pretty. And my first Rex queen was like that - the breeder who I got her from and bred her to one of her males was not sure it took - because she was the only female she ever had that didn't "yell" when bred - did all the other signs tho.

She was a large female and maybe it honestly did not hurt her as much when she was bred.

I'm so glad she's turned out to be the colour you wanted. She's so pretty

Thanks everyone!
My friend is going to pick her up for me from Germany, she happens to be there just the right time so I don't have to fly back and forth myself. I hope the kitten doesn't give her too rough time during the flight.

All hail the queen! She arrived safely on sunday evening and has settled right in. As soon as I let her out of the box she started to explore the room, play, purr and cuddle.
How can something that small purr so loud?!

I will be making a photo thread as soon as I get more pics taken, It's so dark here all the time that it's hard to get any good photos. Here's few:

Congratulations,

she's a real beauty, I especially like this first photo of her
and she seems to have gorgeous paws, too.

Good luck with your breeding program,

Christine

Thanks everyone!

She sure seems to know she's the only princess around here, little diva who lets me know immediately if something is not pleasing her..
She's also like a stereotype of 'the perfect kitten': purrs very loudly when petted and cuddled, gives kisses, climbs on my lap to 'bake cookies' and nap, is very playful but doesn't destroy things, just explores everything and behaves well while doing so, is brave and full of love.. and the list goes on
She is a dream come true, thanks to her wonderful german breeder.
