Hi all,

I have 5 cats and 1 kitten. The Kitten has been in our home 2 months now and things have been going great..until the last few days. 4 out 5 of the cats love the kitten, but 1 cat does not and is mean to the kitten. The problem seems to occur at 4am in the morning. Nall (the mean cat) will chase Welkin (the kitten) under a bed or into the Kitchen table area. In addition to the hissing & growling Welkin has started making runny poops...very smelly..very nasty. We are not sure if its because he is scared or if he is now doing it as some sort of extreme defense mechanism. Welkin does use the litter box area on a normal basis for peeing and pooping...these accidents have only happened when Nall has chased him down and cornered him. We feed the cats chicken soup for cat lovers soul that we recently switched to from the max cat.

Any advice?

Sounds like the poor baby is stressed out. Can you seperate him at night to avoid him being chased? At least until he is bigger and able to stand his ground better?

Sounds as a good advice. And the easiest try for solution for the moment.

You dont need to isolate any of the cats alone, they can have company of any of the others. As long as Nall and Wellkin are at two different, separate places.
