It's going to be another nice day today..I don't know what we did to deserve it, but I like it!

Not much going on..just working today, and then I think DH and I will do something tonight.

No plans this weekend and I love it!

Morning all!!!

Since it's the anniversary of 9/11 just wanted to say my thoughts are with all those people who lost love ones that day..

Sunny and cool here this morning.

Heading off to school in about 1/2 hour. Afterwards to the video store for a couple movies then think I am picking up Chinese for dinner. Decided to make it a movie night.

The kitties are good this morning, just finished a couple of treats and are now parked on the window sill watching a couple of noisy blue jays.

Good morning. I didn't sleep well at all last night, so I just got up a few minutes ago. I'm going to run by the bank, then stop for gas, and try to make it in to work by 10:30 or so. I need to get about 8 hours in today, so I'll probably be there until 6:30. Hopefully, I can get the final report I'm working on finished today. It's not due until the end of the month, but I have two journal articles I also need to have done by then. Tre is here sitting on my lap because he couldn't stand not being picked up while I was typing on the computer.

Good am all! Well, Beeba "let" me sleep till 4:30 this am. Usually it's 3 am! Looked for a good garage sale, but there were none in the paper. Cloudy and chilly here. Gonna look for paint for my kitchen at some point today. Maybe make a catfish fish fry tonight. Sometimes I like a cool, cloudy day. Forces me inside to get stuff done in here. Have great weekends everyone!

I am slowly recovering from my cold that has settled in my chest. DS decided to wake up at 1am for the first time in months for food. I wasn't too happy

I was coughing the whole time. I hope he doesn't get my cold.

Finally a weekend to ourselves with no parties & entertaining. I can't wait to relax. I hope the weather clears up.

Firstly, my condolences to those of you who lost loved ones or friends in 9/11.

I'm just counting the minutes and hours until I get out of here today. I am on vacation next week and going on a week long golf trip with my 3 best friends. My brother has been given the OK to go home after his lung transplant so I'm picking him up tonight to stay with us overnight and then taking him to the airport for his flight tomorrow.

Our weather is near perfect, cool mornings and evenings and getting up to low to mid-20's during the day. I'm hoping next week will have the same weather down in New York State where we'll be golfing.

This day 8 years ago, my whole perspective of the "world" changed, being only in 7th grade, it forced me to better understand what was happenining in our world. God Bless all those people who lost their lives, and those who tried to save them. I pray everyday that our troops may come home safe.

I have class this morning, then going to the barn, then back to class, Dr. appointment, then straight to work from 6pm-12am

. Hopefully I dont work too early again tomorrow, I may need some extra sleep!!

Morning. Yep, it's always a weird feeling on 9/11... I was about to get a shower before going to class, and my mom called and said to turn on the TV, so I did, and yeah. It's not cool to watch that stuff when it's real and live and not a movie. I'm glad it's been declared a day of service though, while a few may feel like the emphasis on helping communities may overshadow the rememberances, I don't think that'll be the case at all. I think it's good to pick up and keep moving, while not forgetting why.

That said, yay Friday! I ordered a new swimsuit from Lands End and it should come today, so I hope to go to the beach today or tomorrow, it's sad, I basically live ON the beach and it's been over a year since I've 'gone to the beach', as in get in a bathing suit and put down a blanket and towels and all that and maybe venture in the ocean. Then again, Long Beach's beach is gross with no waves, so I have to go a whole 5 miles to Seal Beach.

Other than that, nothing exciting planned for the day. Not in the mood to be at work, but that's too bad for me. Hopefully I'll have some real work to do to help pass the time quicker and then it's the weekend! Yay!
