Curious for those who use these or feline pine I guess. What type of box do you use? a regular litter box? Could you post a link to the box or a picture?

I have a feeling this special kitty issue is going to make me want to try something new...

I used Feline Pine pellets for years. Loved it. I only stopped using it because when I got Jeta she wouldn't use it.

I used the shifting style box like this :

http://www.felinepinelitterbox.com/

except I made my own out of large storage boxes. I highly recommend the shifting type box. They make litter box clean up a breeze. You just shake the box and the pellets that have disintegrated into saw dust falls to the bottom. You only scoop out solid waste.

Don't use the the shifting boxes you see at the pet store though, the holes aren't the right size for the pellets. Either buy one from the above website or make your own.

I used a drill. Yes the boxes are the same size. I made sure I used boxes that when stacked together would have a sufficient gap between the 2 bottoms to allow room for the sawdust that would accumulate.

We have two normal litter pans. One is a very large (wide/long) that I picked up cheap at a cat show (want to get another one cause they like it better).

The other is the bottom half of a covered pan. So its a deep one. They use the deep on a little more for poop and the bigger one to pee in.

When using the pellets I only put a single layer on the bottom and one large cup extra. It gets scooped every other day or totally dumped twice a week if I don't scoop it.

I get mine from a local farm supply store.

I use a normal litterbox and use the litter scoop to sift the sawdust out.
