Home Made Cat Treats

Okay so I am starting to make homemade treats for pets. My ultimate plan is to start a pet supplies store, but that's a ways down the road!
So right now I was going to start selling treats on the side. The dogs treats will be easy since I work at a Doggy Daycare! And I already have a lot of dog recipes but I havent found many options for cats! I wanted to know if anyone has tried to make their own treats and how those have gone! And if you know of anywhere great to get some recipes!

I want to start a website with homemade pet treats (shipped via next day delivery) and toys! But dont know for sure yet!

I have tried making treats for all of my pets (cat/dog/horse) and it generally results in allot of profanity coming from the kitchen...

I have yet to find recipes I LIKE for any of my animals. I think your best bet though is just to gain some basic baking knowledge, have a look at what your target audience likes to eat then experiment .

It is allot of fun, and the pets certainly don't mind eating the failures!

Have you tried any of the softer treats or pupcake recipes? Those usually turn out great for me!

One year at Christmas time I decided to bake my cats catnip cookie treats. It was a recipe I got from the Natural cat book(I think, it was many years ago ) First I had to locate some of the ingredients from the natural food store and then I remember having a time making them. I think my Bubba cat felt sorry for me and he ate them to make me feel better(he sure didn't beg for them). The rest of my cats had nothing to do with them.

I would suggest more like jerky treats
