We are taking the kittens on Thursday to get wormed, shots, etc. My question is are there any shots that we should NOT get?

As I've said before, I know nothing about this and need some help.

chlamydia and FeLV do not get them if your cat is indoor.
Chlamydia is not that bad - Jake had it- but there is a higher risk of reactions associated with it.
FeLV is worse.

I would only get the shots that are required in your state/county.

I think here in Michigan the only shot your cat or dog is required to have is it's rabies, and once every 3 years.

And I don't even agree with the rabie's vaccine.

If you have a solitary indoor cat, or even multiple healthy indoor cats, I don't see why any vaccination should be needed.

I won't do anything over 3 in 1.

Too many problems with 4 in1 or 5 in 1.

I forgot I posted this BUT..

My husband took the kittens to get their shots and wormer as I was at work. The vet gave them both FeLV vaccinations.. I didn't know until after.

If something were to happen to them, how long would it take? They are okay and everything but I just wondered if the results would be bad after getting that how long would it take?
