Great photo essay!!! The seventh image in the first set with the cat on the sofa and the lamp is an excellent pic - composition lighting and of course.... subject!!!!

Great pix! Looks like here at home with the lamp...except I always wind up distracting Gigi b/c she's already knocked my favorite lamp down twice and I don't think it has three lives!
