Two More Years of the Sopranos!!!

"The Sopranos' " creator/executive producer David Chase has reached an agreement with HBO to return for a sixth season of the hit mob drama.

They are currently filming Season Five, which is to air starting in January 2004, I believe.

Anyone else watch this series? We love it!

I LOOVVEE IT! We're like a season behind from what you guys see and it's massive here. My boyfriend and I watch it every week. Love IT.

So glad they're going to do another season because I heard that season 5 was to be the last one, they said they weren't going to do anymore to end on a high note, but I always thought "DON'T COP OUT - GIVE US MORE!" and now they have...hey...maybe I'm psychic or something!!LOL

So you're still in the middle of Season 4?

I won't spoil it for you, but I will say: The season finale was AWESOME. And unexpected!

However, I dont have HBO so I havent even seen the 4th season yet

I'm waiting for it to come out on DVD.

The Sopranos is hands-down my favorite show. It makes me homesick, as I am from that area of NJ. Yippee! This IS good news!

I know what you mean, Deb! I grew up in Central NJ, but most of my relatives live in Bergen county. I recognized some of the places they show in the opening credits!

I was raised in Bergen County! I recognize many of the places in the opening credits, and I would swear that the Soprano house is in a neighborhood I am familiar with.

I remember a kid I was friends with in elementary school. The family was wealthy beyond belief (although many families where I grew up had tons of cash). Anyway, I remember always overhearing the adults say that the father had to be in the mob, because he couldn't pull down that much cash running a greeting card store in the Port Authority.

All I know is that this kid had every Barbie doll, oufit, and accessory known to man when we were kids. I had to beg and plead with my mom to buy one stinking outfit. She was a really nice girl, though.
