Good Morning Folks!!!

Today is Independence Day in My country, Brasil..... Which takes me to my question:

How do you personally like to Celebrate Independence Day in your country?

The tradition in Brasil is to go to the Military Parades, during the day time - In Brasilia, the Capital, where I was raised, The President is also present, so it is a big deal... really beautiful... If you don't go, then you watch on TV...
Abroad, we celebrate by having parties - it is called "Brazilian Day"- We have it in NY (Time Square), Ontario, Canada, Tokio, and several other countries...

Happy independence Day Brasil!
I love you

Happy Independence Day to Everyone in Brazil

July 1st is Canada Day which marks the anniversary of our Confederation Day July st 1867. We generally have family or community gatherings, fireworks, and it is also the day we announce that years recipients of The Order of Canada.

The order of Canada is medal of recognition that is given out to Canadians outstanding in whatever fields they are involved in. There is one for all the sciences, literature, the arts, excellence in sports. On an international level it is given most often to military personal who personify the Canadian Culture.

I usually go to the beach to relax and watch the fireworks on the water. Sometimes BBQ beforehand or during the weekend.

This past year I went back to my hometown and watched them on the lake
