Why do they sleep ON your feet?

My Brady likes to sleep on my chair that I use in the computer room, that is, until the crack of dawn. Then he comes into the bedroom, jumps up on to the bed, stomps across it, and hunkers down right on top of the lump under that blanket where my feet are. Why does he like to settle down ON my feet I wonder?

Ku Ku doesn't sleep on my feet but as you described, she, too likes to sleep on my chair during evening(yep, the particular one I use in my computer room) then always, ALWAYS comes to my feet and attacks on it early in the morning while I'm still sleeping.

Here's another thing she does - when I come home from work, the very first thing she does is to rubs her face against my shoes that I was wearing all day(good 10 to 12 hours). She purrrrs a lot meanwhile, and even starts to chew on it if I don't stop her at all, pretty much the same reaction like catnip.
I dunno if that means my shoes(as well as my feet?) are extra stinky...

I remember once I was staying at a friend's cabin, and they had a kitty who liked to attack your toes if they stuck out from under the blanket. Made it hard to sleep in!

So you can't go anywhere, of course! Brady is you own personal set of foot shackles. lol
