Well I guess I was worry about nothing because about 30 minutes after my last post under "inducing labour" someone started squeaking
.

Peaches' must have been waiting for me to get up because she refused to have them in her box, but instead lay down on the towel right beside me. Not that she needed any help, just a little encouragement, she's a great mom!

So far we have two, they are quite big so I'm not expecting any more (may be one more?) but they are both VERY healthy & quite vigorous!

And, yes, they are UNBELIEVABLY cute!!

The little one with less colour (kinda looks like he has a scratch on his head, but it's just the hair) was the first to be born & it looks like he is a little boy. The second had a more patchy pattern and it looks like she's a girl! And it looks like we're having one of each and that's it! I'm so pleased it was a small litter, 2 is the perfect number of kittens
.

Everyone is VERY happy & resting, their is a tremendous amount of purring coming from the closet now
. I'll get some more pictures once Peaches has gotten some sleep
.

Ok now they need names...

The one with more colour is the girl, the one with less is the boy.

Because they are Peaches' I keep thinking I should name them something like "apple" and "grapefruit"
but those seem like REALLY silly names!!

Well, I suppose you could go with Cling for the girl and Freestone for the boy.

Or would that be too silly, too?

Those are good ones

I don't know what we'd call them for nicknames then though!

Hubby says to me this evening "What are we going to do with these kitten?" "Honey, we can't have five cats"
.

I have to agree we'll have to find a good home (for at least one of them, maybe).

Well on our way to becoming crazy cat people...

I have 5 cats...you really wouldn't notice them so much, they don't take up that much room. LOL.

I know, I know, talking to the wrong people

Hubby came up with "Mango" (being a fruit I guess) but thats more a russian blue name isn't it?
Still pretty cute for a little boy!
