My friend Susan has a great apartment for cats. As if the hardwood floors, clawfoot tub, and feline sized nooks weren't enough, the main attraction is a large window in the living room that opens onto the roof over the porch. Her 3 indoor cats love to spend the late afternoon lounging around on the room when the days are warm. Last night, I decided to crawl out on the roof and get a few pictures of Buddy, Oscar, and Leah since the light was so good.
Here's Oscar coming from the shady spot in the corner to check me out.
Buddy came out the window to see what was going on and a stare off ensued.
The testosterone wore off pretty quickly and they both flopped down to enjoy the late day sun.
Buddy hamming it up for the camera.
And a close up. I think he should be on TV because he's so handsome and photogenic.
Oscar relaxing by the window.
And here's his close up. He was pretty beaten up when we found him, but the notches in his ear are the only remaining evidence.
Leah wandered out later and plopped down in the shady corner under the branches of a tree.
Leah up close and purrsonal.
Having a good stretch!
That was it for me. I decided to head down to lower ground and let the cats have their roof back.
