My third across the bridge this year... Love you...

Today, my family and I lost our third cat in a year.
In April, we lost Barney, the loving tabby with extra toes that would eat anything.
In June, we lost Esme, our beautiful tortoishell who could never meow, just squeak, and drooled like a tap.
And today we lost Charlie, Barney's brother. He had the most annoying meow of any cat I've ever met. It's been a couple of hours and I miss that meow already.

I love you and miss you, my darlings. The four of us and the other six kitties miss you all dearly

That's far too much grief for anyone to endure, within only a year's time. My sincere condolences to you.

They're probably cuddling and washing each other's faces at the Bridge right now.
