Hayward Cat Show Sept 6th

Cleos next cat show is this sunday.
I hope she will do ok this time.
She has never finaled with most of these judges and she has seen some of them 2-3 times.
There are 142 cats entered.
This will be the last show in Hayward because the building is going to be torn down.
Is there a way I can find the breed counts?
I am trying to see how many sphynx have been entered.

Sounds like a small show so hopefully she does well for you.

Check showcatsus - I don't have the link right now but they do usually have the count. All my shows are small shows with the exception of the Hong Kong Cat Lovers' shows. On av. show counts over my side of the world don't exceed 150. The good news is that judges can spot the wheat from the chaff (oh, doesn't sound good but truth), the bad news is that if the talent is all around good, then it's a tough call for the judges!

Oh that's a disappointing count, but decent enough for Premiership. How many rings??? I think you mentioned 6 right? Cleo should be able to grand if she finals in all rings

Where did you get the numbers if the link didn't work?

These numbers are from the CFA Northwest site.
There are no numbers with the breeds.

You only get the total class count - never a "breed" count.

CFA and ACFA never give breed counts - only class counts. You find out the breed counts at the show in the catalog.

Sorry GK, you are not quite right - some CFA clubs do publish the breed counts, most DON'T. If you belong to the yahoo lists for the 3 categories, you'll find that every so often, breed counts do get published. If they are published, then usually catshowsus will carry the breed counts as well.

Thanks for clarifying it - I go by the online entries from the eclerk on the region page for the total counts - they don't tell you breed.

Pleasanton and Fresno did give the breed counts before the shows.
That is why I was asking about the breed counts.
