A request for vibes and prayers

Well, I got an update from my friend with a brain tumor. He has decided to forgo any further treatment unless and until the unlikely event that his tumor grows in such a way as to make surgery a less risky option. So right now, its a wait until the end.


I'm trying to get my friends to join me in 30 days of prayer for him. As Catholics, we are praying for the intercession of St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus, that can be found here. If you're willing to join me in that, I would be incredibly grateful. But any prayers, vibes, or whatever you can offer for him would be amazing. I know that TCS vibes can work wonders!


In case anyone has questions on the Catholic practice of praying to saints, please do feel free to ask. I love talking about my faith, and would be glad to offer an explanation for you. You can PM me or ask here, but I do ask that you please keep it civil since I don't want this thread to end up in IMO.

Also, any prayer requests that you would like me to keep in mind while doing these 30 days, please let me know!

In addition to vibes for my friend, could I also ask for some for a little boy that I met while reading my friend's blog? He was born in March, so he's just six months old, and has been diagnosed with a neuroblastoma. His parents just found out that the particular genetic markers that their son has means that his chances for survival are very low, and they are understandably in a lot of pain and shock right now.

I've been praying for them, but with this latest news, well, they can use all the vibes and prayers they can get. So TCS, please have at it!

Well, the news is in the open now. He's finally told everyone else who didn't know about the tumor. In some ways, I suppose that's good news in that he's coming more to grips with what is happening. In other ways...well, I suppose when others didn't know it was easier in a way to deny that it was happening.

Please keep the vibes up, for him and for baby Max. And if a few can be spared after that, I'm very afraid that my dizzy spells are starting up again. I can't afford to take more time off of work right now if they are...
