Cat lethargic and not eating very much.

Hi Everyone-

My cat Leo has gotten sick and i am wondering what it could be wrong with him. He is about 8 years old. He used to be a the alpha male cat and about two weeks ago he became very lethargic. He stopped coming to the kitchen to eat and now I have to bring him food to where he has started hanging out (my son's 2nd fl bedroom). He is still using the litterboxes in the basement so that is good news. He has lost some weight and he sleeps more than he used to.

I do have a vet appt for him in two days but I was wondering is anyone have any advice?

I would take him in today or earlier if you can and ask they run a blood panel on him. No one here can diagnose your cat better than a vet who has hands on experience and is there can. Your cat is entering his senior years and there is so much that can go wrong. Good luck and please let us know what the vet says.
