This is the kind of man we have for our Senate Majority leader. I cringe when I think of how many times I have voted for this guy.
He has a grudge against the Las Vegas Review Journal as the RJ has been critical of him and the RJ recently did a poll that shows that a janitor could beat Harry if the election was held today. The election is next year.
Last Wednesday, Harry Reid spoke at a Chamber of Commerce Meeting in Las Vegas, this is how he treats those that are critical of him.

Isn't that nice of Harry, he wants more Nevadan's to be out of work.
I guess our 12.1% unemployment rate isn't high enough for Harry.
And check this out, some of his remarks during his speech.

And who can forget Harry Reid's comment about the "smelly tourists", in a state where its' lifeblood depends on those "smelly tourists".

With friends like Harry, Nevada doesn't need any enemies.

| On Wednesday, before he addressed a Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce luncheon, Reid joined the chamber's board members for a meet-'n'-greet and a photo. One of the last in line was the Review-Journal's director of advertising, Bob Brown, a hard-working Nevadan who toils every day on behalf of advertisers. He has nothing to do with news coverage or the opinion pages of the Review-Journal. Yet, as Bob shook hands with our senior U.S. senator in what should have been nothing but a gracious business setting, Reid said: "I hope you go out of business." |

| Other highlights from Reid's speech included the revelation that Reid will give bipartisanship a two-week trial period when the Senate reconvenes in early September to discuss health care reform. If Republicans still aren't on board by mid- to late September, Reid said he'll be ready to deploy reconciliation, which would allow passage of a bill with a 51-vote majority rather than a 60-vote, filibuster-proof bloc. Reconciliation would allow reform to pass even if all 40 Senate Republicans and a handful of conservative Democrats oppose it. |
