Wheat Germ Oil

When I worked with horses years ago, we used to put wheat germ oil in their meal for glossy healthy skin and coats. They shimmered in the sunlight. Can I give my cats this as a supplement for silky shiny coats?

I know of fish oil doing the same thing for cats, but not wheat oil... I am not sure if it would have the same effect, or any effect at all... Cat an horses are completely different - horses are obligate vegetarians, and cats obligate carnivores....

Sharky will be the one qualified to respond to this - but yes - Fish oil/omega 3 will have that effect.

Many cat are allergic to wheat thus even though oil is fat is is something many avoid...

What are you feeding for regular dry / wet food
