I'm so excited-I just got an email from Borders reminding me that I reserved a copy of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix". The store is opening at midnight on Friday night/Saturday morning to sell the book.

Is anyone else excited?

I ordered Amazon's "adult edition" last week. I guess it has a plain cover so that nobody can see you're reading a kids' book! It's almost 900 pages long.

I am soooooooo excited
I pre-ordered and my estimated arrival date is June 25th. I can't wait. I know I could have it sooner from the bookstore but I didn't want to battle the crowd.

I feel like I have been waiting forever! How dare she have a life that stops her from witing LOL (she got married and had a baby). I will not be able to pick up the book until Monday as I ordered it thru the bookstore by work. Maybe I can talk the hubby into taking a car trip on Saturday!

We pre-ordered as soon as it was announced. Amazon is awesome for getting things to you the day they are released if you pre-order. I can't wait!!!

I have been waiting for this book to come out as long as anyone. I have been reading the other books to catch up again. But some of them have been read so much that they are falling apart! In fact, my copy of the 4th Happy Potter book was in such ruins that we had to throw it away.

I've preordered too. Very bad as we are out of work... I'll borrow the cash from my older kids. They owe me a ton of cash anyway! LOL

Hmm, and I remember someone who didn't want to read it because it was too long! And her wonderful mother began to read aloud to her chapter 1 of the first book. And the girl loved it. And now she is a devotee.

And they lived happily ever after.

The end.

A very nerdy question coming up, for all the fan-girls....

So, today at work I was talking about the Harry Potter books with two other people who are also big fans. And this question came up...If no one can Apperate/Disapperate at Hogwarts, how did the final Portkey (the Cup) work in Book 4. Any opinions?

Movin' on up!
I pre-ordered mine, in January. Amazon has promised that it will be here, on Saturday. Since I get off of work, at 2:30, it should be waiting, when I get home.

I marked the date on my calendar when it was announced back in March. The local store is opening at 7am just to sell the book and I'm going to part of the Harry Potter crowd. And if anyone says kids book, I'll point out the 900 pages that it's been said to be.

adymarie...She also worked closely with the making of the first two movie...though the second movie was a disappointment for me....but then who cares....The Order of the Phoenix is going to be my hot little hands on Saturday!!!!
